Definition
An Affiliate Member has an involvement with the construction industry and may or may not wish to move up to one of the qualification grades of membership. This grade is used as a holding grade for those applicants working towards the Technical (TMInstCES), or Corporate (MInstCES) grades of membership. Affiliate Members may also be studying part-time for a relevant qualifications.

Eligibility
All those who have an interest and involvement within the construction industry.

Benefits of Membership
In addition to the core benefits of membership, the Affiliate Member grade also offers:

• The opportunity to apply to upgrade to the qualification grades of membership (subject to eligibility).
• Ten copies per year of the Institution journal, Civil Engineering Surveyor.
• Access to ICES regional events programme.

How to Apply
The Affiliate Member application document must include:

Application for Admission Form ICES101 to be signed by a sponsor.
A passport sized photograph.

Please return all requested documentation to the Education, Training and Membership Officer at ICES Head Office.
There is no application fee.
