Definition
A
Corporate Member is a fully qualified civil engineering surveyor and a
voting member of the Institution.
Eligibility
A
Corporate Member (via the Mature Entry route) will have:
- At
least twelve years experience as a civil engineering surveyor, during
five of which the applicant will have held a senior position.

Achieved a successful outcome from the ICES
Corporate Review Interview.
Benefits
of Membership
In
addition to the core benefits of membership, the Corporate Member grade
also offers:
- The
award of the designatory letters, MInstCES.

Full recognition as a qualified civil engineering surveyor.

ICES voting rights as a Corporate Member.

The opportunity to become involved in the governance of the Institution
(e.g. nomination for election to Council of Management).

Ten copies per year of the Institution journal, Civil Engineering
Surveyor.

Access to ICES regional
events programme.
How
to Apply
The
Corporate Member application document must include:
For
first time applicants: Application Form
ICES101 (signed by two sponsors).
For existing members: Upgrade Form ICES102
(signed by two sponsors).
A passport sized photograph.
Three copies of a detailed CV
(2,000 words).
Three copies of an Experience
Report (2,000 words)
A completed set of training objectives (ICES Training Guidelines), if
applicable or a record of Continuing Professional
Development (CPD) undertaken in the last two years.
The necessary application fee.
Please
return all requested documentation to the Education, Training and Membership
Officer at ICES Head Office.
