A Corporate Member is a fully qualified civil engineering surveyor and a voting member of the Institution.

Eligibility

A Corporate Member (via the Graduate Route) will have:

• Either an accredited degree, an acceptable alternative degree, membership of a listed professional organisation, relevant postgraduate diploma, MSc, an appropriate NVQ Level 4 or 5 or successfully completed the ICES corporate entry assessment course.
• At least three years’ relevant experience, together with the successful completion of an ICES company approved training scheme or five years’ relevant experience for those who have not completed one of these.
• Fulfilled the requirements of the ICES Competencies (geospatial engineering surveying or commercial management).
• Achieved a successful outcome at the Corporate Review Interview.

The Corporate membership application (Graduate Route) must include:

• For first time applicants: Application form (ICES101) signed by two sponsors.
• For existing members: Upgrade form (ICES102) signed by two sponsors.
• A passport sized photograph.
• Three copies of a detailed CV (approx. 2,000 words).
• Three copies of an Experience Report (approx. 2,000 words).
• A completed set of ICES Competencies (geospatial engineering surveying or commercial management).
• A record of continuing professional development (CPD) undertaken in the last two years.
• The necessary application fee.
