The Education, Training and Membership Committee is responsible for establishing educational and training standards for civil engineering surveyors through the accreditation of academic courses and the provision of training guidelines, a continuing professional development (CPD) scheme and a range of training courses and workshops.

Its responsibilities also encompass the establishment of the Institution's membership criteria and the administration of membership applications.
