Definition
A Student Member will currently be studying on a full-time ICES
accredited course.

Any student on an ICES accredited
course.
Benefits
of Membership
In
addition to the core benefits of membership, the Student Member grade
also offers:

Free membership for the duration of the course.

The opportunity to become an active member of the ICES Graduates
and Students Society and participate in its events.

Eligibility to enter ICES Student Prizes and Awards.

Students on sandwich courses will be eligible to count their placement
year towards the ICES Training Objectives requirements (stated within
the ICES Training Guidelines) providing that their placement year is
undertaken within an approved company (i.e. a company who employ an
ICES Approved Training Scheme).

Reference to membership of a specialist professional institution on
a curriculum vitae.

Ten copies per year of the Institution journal, Civil Engineering
Surveyor.

Access to ICES regional
events programme.

to Apply
The
Student Member application document must include the following:
Student
Application Form ICES103 to be signed by sponsor(s).
Please
return all requested documentation to the Education, Training and Membership
Officer at ICES Head Office.
