The Geospatial Engineering Practices Committee (GEPC) aims to represent the interests of those studying and employed within the field of geospatial engineering surveying and to promote standards of excellence within the profession.

This is achieved by raising the profile of the Institution and the profession of geospatial engineering surveying and through working in collaboration with other interested professional bodies within the industry, including the joint ICE and ICES Geospatial Engineering Board (GEB).

The committee meets to make recommendations and to carry out investigations for the Council of Management concerning the professional practices of the Institution. The specialisms included within the discipline of geospatial engineering are represented by a series of specialist panels who support the objectives of the GEPC.
