Graduates & Students

Each regional group is led by one of the members of the Graduates and Students Committee and will have a small informal committee to help organise activities and events.

The groups concentrate on getting students on accredited courses involved with the ICES and on planning social activities, site visits and technical presentations to their members. In some cases Graduate Members may come to speak to students to describe their own experience of the transition to work, and progress in the early years.

There is always a need for volunteers to get involved in the groups, and there are often opportunities to represent a course or a region on the Graduates and Students Committee. The list following shows the current representation (although it should be noted that this changes quickly as Student Members graduate, and Graduate Members upgrade to Corporate Membership).
