The regional groups to date have organised activities that include 5-a-side football competitions, bowling and go-karting events along with technical presentations and visits to large civil engineering construction sites. They are currently working on events that will help students in their search for the right job and give insights into the first year or two in full time employment.

Activities are posted in the ICES journal Civil Engineering Surveyor.

Members in other membership grades (e.g. Affiliates) who are under the age of 26 may also take part in the activities of the groups, although they are not eligible to serve on the Graduates and Students Committee.
