An Introduction to the ICE Minor Works Form of Contract
Synopsis:
The ICE Minor Works form of contract was first published in 1988 with
a second edition in 1995 and is intended for small civil engineering contracts.
It is not a down-market ICE 5th or 6th edition but a common sense approach
to produce a concise contract that reflects the practicalities of the smaller
project. However, it has limitations and certain conditions and factors have
to be considered before its use is adopted. It is therefore important that
contract compilers understand the procedures to be followed. The purpose of
this training course is to give an insight, with delegate participation, in
the procedures for the use of this form of contract in both pre and post-contract
situations.
