ICES Governance
The Institution operates with a compliment of staff and dedicated voluntary members. ICES members are encouraged to take part in the future development of the Institution. This is done through a series of core committees and panels that meet throughout the year.
The chief executive and the annually elected president, head the task of steering the Institution’s core committees to develop and implement Institution policy. They also work alongside the managing directors of SURCO, the Institution’s wholly owned trading company, to oversee its commercial activities.
The Institution is also supported by a network of regional committees throughout the UK, Ireland, Hong Kong and UAE.
