Formulation of a tender bid or construction programme including methods of working and associated temporary works, monitoring and up-dating the 'as-built' works project programme, critical path and network analysis, performance analysis and production control/target setting.

The above definition is based upon those contained in The Establishment of the Profile and Definition of the Geodetic Surveying Profession to meet the requirements of the General Public and the Commission of the European Union published by the Comite de Liaison des Geometres-Experts Europeens in May 1996.
