A New Junior Vice President for ICES
ICES has announced the appointment of Robert Fleming FInstCES as Junior Vice President for the Presidential Year 2002 - 2003.

Robert joined the Institution as a Fellow (FInstCES) in 1988 and was elected to the Council of Management in 2000. For the year 1999 - 2000, he acted as the Regional Chairman for the Scotland Regional Committee and served on the Institution's Regional Chairmans Committee. He remains an active member of the Scotland Regional Committee.

Robert is a quantity surveyor by profession. He is a Senior Associate Director of international construction and engineering consultants Trett Consulting, currently based at the company's offices in Stirling, Scotland.

Robert's appointment coincides with the announcement of the inauguration of the Institution's new President, Peter A. Heathershaw FInstCES and the appointment of John Wilding FInstCES as Senior Vice President for the new Presidential Year.
