Definition
A
Fellow is a senior and highly experienced civil engineering surveyor and
a voting member of the Institution. Fellow is the most senior grade of
membership.
Eligibility
A
Fellow Member will have:

Met all of the qualification requirements for Corporate membership.

At least fifteen years relevant experience (or a postgraduate qualification
and ten years relevant experience).

Three ICES Fellows as sponsors.

A Letter of Recommendation from the Principal
Sponsor.

In

The award of the designatory letters, FInstCES.

Full recognition as a senior and highly experienced civil engineering
surveyor.

ICES voting rights as a Fellow.
- The
opportunity to become involved in the governance of the Institution
(e.g. nomination for election to Council of Management).

Ten copies per year of the Institution journal, Civil Engineering
Surveyor.

Access to ICES regional
events programme.
How
to Apply
The
Fellow grade application document must include:
For
first time applicants: Application Form
ICES101 (signed by three sponsors).
For existing members: Upgrade Form ICES102
(signed by three sponsors).
A passport sized photograph.
A letter of recommendation from the principal sponsor.
Three copies of a detailed CV
(2,000 words).
A record of Continuing Professional Development
(CPD) undertaken in the last two years.
The necessary application fee.
Please
return all requested documentation to the Education, Training and Membership
Officer at ICES Head Office.
Note:
Applicants for Fellow grade will normally be asked to attend a review interview. |
