Synopsis
A course for planning supervisors, project managers and commercial managers. The HSE have recently identified problems with awareness and application of these regulations, particularly amongst designers and attendance on this course will go a long way towards addressing such problems.

• Why the CDM regulations are necessary

• Problems identified by the HSE relating to compliance with legislation in the construction industry

• Other relevant legislation including the Health and Safety at Work Act, management regulations, construction health safety and welfare regulations, COSHH and asbestos.

• A detailed look at the code of practice to the CDM Regulations

• Management systems that relate to the legislation

• Positive benefits of proper application of the legislation

• What to expect if the HSE carry out an audit of your company (clients, designers, planning supervisors and contractors)
