Applications are invited for student placements with ABB Power Technologies Division, Power Systems Projects based at Stone. Short and long term placements available (site-based placements by agreement).
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Supporting ABB project managers in the construction of claims and defence against claims under various forms of contract and subcontract. Reporting to the civil engineering manager and supporting the project management function, the candidate will be responsible for project cost control including:
Cost reporting
Analysis of risks and opportunities on civil budgets
Control of variation accounts
Construction of claims and claim defences
Negotiation and settlement of claims and final accounts
