Quantity surveying Preparation of the tender and contract documents, the measurement of quantities, cost control, preparation of valuations and final accounts, the production and/or settlement of claims and the performance of advisory and administrative functions regarding contractual matters. The above definition is based upon those contained in The Establishment of the Profile and Definition of the Geodetic Surveying Profession to meet the requirements of the General Public and the Commission of the European Union published by the Comite de Liaison des Geometres-Experts Europeens in May 1996.
